Cheap Ikea Halogen Spotlight Makes Great Task Lamp

I'm always needing a little extra light in areas around my shop, particularly on power tools. I dislike the clunky gooseneck lamps found in many stores, and often don't need the great amount of light - and heat - they generate. In many instances, all I need is a well-placed spot of light to illuminate a tool's blade or a grinder wheel. I found a little 20W halogen lamp with a flexible neck at Ikea. I bought a couple of them, and have them placed at a few workstations around the shop.
